Special Entities Available.

The Dune Universe is filled with Unique Entities that have long and storied histories. While the Game caters and encourages the creation and play of your own characters and entities, the listed Houses and Organisations play an important part of the Imperium. As such, they come with a variety of perks that set them apart from the norm. However, due to their esteem and their special place in the hearts and minds of Dune's Readers, the player seeking control of "The Canon Houses" will be required to fill in an application form, provide a written sample and present a vision for their version of the entity requested.

The Available Special Entities are listed below:

House Atreides: Starter Fief Caladan, +1 Over Cap on Military Units, Title of Duke
House Atreides has always been known for their military prowess and proximity to the Throne. As such, House Atreides starts with the Title of Duke regardless of Status and will receive a +1 Skill over the Skill Cap for all purchased Battalions.

House Harkonnen: Starter Fief Giedi Prime, 1 Special and 10% Extra Share Purchase [Taken]
House Harkonnen has always been known for their accumulation of wealth and their deviousness, indeed it is known that the Harkonnen titles came from CHOAM Profitbooks attesting to their economic acuity. As such, House Harkonnen will be able to by 10% more shares than any other entity per Round. Due to their dominance of the Opuichi System, House Harkonnen is the Overlord of Opuichi and has reservation over all PC fiefs in the System and its Vassal Houses (Planet Llankiveil and House Rabban)

House Moritani: Starter Fief Grumman, Purveyors of Assassins, Overlords of Nuishe [Taken]
House Moritani has always been known for its calculating shrewdness, its Siridarship of Gamont and Nuishe as well as its Assassin Culture. As such, House Moritani is the sole purveyor of Assassins and the Overlord of Nuishe and has reservations on the Planets of Gamont and Nuishe Prime.

House Ginaz: Starter Fief Ginaz, Purveyors of Swordmasters, 1 Extra Contract.
House Ginaz is known for its training and sale of renowned Swordmasters who are trained to defend your holdings and give their lives for their charge's if need be. Due to the nature of Ginaz' planetary surface, Ginaz will be allowed to hold 1 extra CHOAM Contract to accomodate for their lack of landmass and living space.

House Ecaz: Starter Fief Ecaz, Posions Monopoly, Title of Duke [Taken]
House Ecaz and the Planet Ecaz in particular are renowned for the exotic nature of its flora. From fogwood to verite, the jungles of Ecaz provide a rich bounty which is still being studied and catalogued to this day As such, House Ecaz retains a Monopoly on all Assassins Poisons and Stim Packages and given their proximity to the Imperial House will start with the title of Duke, regardless of Status.

House Richese: Starter Fief Richese, 1 Special, Highliner Production, Neuroblades
House Richese is known for technological marvels, miniturization and replicating Ixian Technology. Given their status as one of the Two Technocracies of the Imperium, they are granted a Special Contract at the start of the game and are one of the Manufacturers of Guild Highliners.

House Vernius: Starter Fief IX, 1 Special, Highliner Production, Suboid Battalions.
House Vernius is known for its Siridarship of IX and one of the Two Technocracies of the Imperium. IX's specialities are vast and numerous. Ixian Products during this time start to edge away from Richesean Counterparts. As such, House Vernius is the only entity capable of producing Suboid Battalions, Highliners and are granted 1 Special Contract.

House Fenring: Fenring Estate, Imperial Vassal
The Original Imperial Vassal. The Counts of Fenring have been the right hand men of Corrino Emperors since time immemorial. This unique position comes with a lot of responsibility and terrific boons for the right candidate. Due to the proximity of Fenring to the Imperial House, their appointment is solely at the Throne's discretion.

Bene Tleilax: Stater Fief Bene Tleilax, Slig Common, Facedancer [Taken]
The Bene Tleilax are a mysterious Patriarchal Society hailing from the Thalim System. The little grey men are regarded with scorn over throughout the Empire. The key to their survival has been their seemingly miraculous ability to produce replacement organs and limbs, produce ghola's from living cells and many more things besides. Due to their prowess, the Slig Starter Contract is worth more than a Common Sales Contract and purvey the dreaded Facedancer to the Imperium.

Mentat School: Starter Fief Alpha Corvus, Purveys Mentats and Education Facilities
The Mentat Schoool is known for the individuals that represent the paradigms of Loyalty and Logic. These supremely gifted beings are often employed as the defensive backbone of a House and are valued advisors to Noble Sovereigns. Given their status as a Great School of Thought, The Mentat School has Siridarship over its own Planet and will be able to purvey special education facilities that offer unique bonuses to their purchasers.

Suk School: Starter Fief Rossak, Purveys Suk Doctors and Medical Facilities
The Suk School is known for producing physicians that are worthy of treating an Emperor. The key to their universal trust lie in their Imperial Conditioning, represented by a Diamond Tattoo on the forehead. Given their status as a Great School of Thought, The Suk has Siridarship over its own Planet and will be able to purvey special medical facilities that offer unique bonuses to their purchasers.
